Can We Talk (Purple Flowers), tells the story of strength, determination and patience when dealing first hand with depression and suicide. The purple flowers representing a life saved, and white for the ones we have lost.
These works share those small purple miracles, growing through concrete and rail tracks, gaining strength and surviving despite
adversary. By picking, pressing and waiting, all of these pressed pieces of nostalgia and recovery are immortalised which when
exhibited together, provide an illustration of human and nature’s strength to grow, even through the darkest of times.
These works are dedicated to the friendships of MD, AP and PM.
